When in 1964 it was decided to establish a ceramic industry in a quiet area like Ferrara, the entrepreneurial difficulties that this choice would have brought could not be underestimated. The idea, following tenaciously its own particular logic, eventually came to fruition; Ceramica Sant'Agostino began activities with a daily production of 300 square metres of floor tiles.

Since then, both the plant and its production have been expriencing continual growth and expansion, proving the validity of the initial choice.

Today the company produces a total of 19,000 square metres of floor and wall tiles every day. The 400 employees who work in the plant's 470,000 square metre structure can count on a rationalised, modern and healthy workplace, designed according to extremely high safety standards.

Awareness when making strategic decisions, client satisfaction, continual improvement of production processes and a commitment to human resources are the four pillars of the company's philosophy. For us "quality development" means building on a very unique industrial model that has allowed us to make significant and constant improvements to company procedures. This means that besides responding immediately to market changes, we can also detect trends and as a result anticipate them.
